THE PILL is a short sci-fi thriller written and directed by Louise in the midst of the pandemic of 2020.
A collaborative international group of film industry people called “The Entertainment Industry MASTERMIND GROUP” was founded by Hollywood film editor and industry mentor, Tina Imahara in the spring of 2020. As the months in lock down passed by and people became increasingly more worried about the future of their careers, Louise pitched the idea of making a short film remotely to the group. People with all levels of experience, from all over the world – Hollywood, Miami, Holland, India, Germany, Uruguay and Barcelona to name just a few – got united to bring to life the story about a young woman’s struggle with a difficult choice.
All pre-production, including meetings, casting, rehearsals, and preparations, were done 100% remotely by individuals who had never met in person and was eventually filmed in Barcelona, Spain with a local crew and with Dutch actress Tina Jawidan, Finish actress Sanna Toivanen and Spanish actress Miriam Marcet.
